Vasco Pimentel is a writer and poet based in Fremantle, Western Australia.

He is a scriptwriter and storyteller for THRIVE, a script-assessing panellist for Short & Sweet and the Creative Writer Lead for Blazing Swan.

Born in Lisbon, Portugal, Vasco left his homeland at eighteen and migrated to Australia.

He holds a Creative Writing degree from Curtin University and a Certificate IV in Professional Writing & Editing.

Vasco’s short fiction has been published by the little journal, Spineless Wonders and the Meniscus Literary Journal. It has also been featured in Free Spirit and the Student Gallery Magazine in the UK.

His poetry has been published in Love & Literature, Wingless Dreamer, and Paddler Press.
