My name is Vasco Pimentel, and I’m a writer and poet based in Fremantle, Western Australia.

Born in Lisbon, Portugal, I left my home country at the age of eighteen and migrated to Australia.

My short fiction has been published for Spineless Wonders and in the Student Gallery Magazine in the UK.

My poetry has been published for Wingless Dreamer. 

I also do some work as a creative writer for Blazing Swan and as a script-assessing panellist for Short & Sweet. 

Bachelor’s degree from Curtin University in Creative Writing. Certificate IV in Professional Writing and Editing.

Proficient in anything from creative non-fiction (feature articles, essays and opinion pieces) to my favourite creative outlet at the moment, short fiction. These will one day bolster me to write my very own literary fiction book.

Skillset:  Experience in professional writing, editing and proofreading. Also proficient in translations of Portuguese to English and vice-versa.
